From a hard decision to a verdict you can defend, in minutes.
What is The Voussoir?
The Voussoir is decision review and governance software. Seven independent AI perspectives ask the questions a well-run board would ask, challenge a consequential decision before it is committed, record their dissent and state what would change the answer. People decide, and the decision is kept in a tamper-evident record.
- 1
Frame the decision
Write the decision in your own words, including the options you are weighing. Add a document if it matters. Two options can be run together or compared side by side.
- 2
Seven seats examine it
Seven AI perspectives work independently and none sees the others' work first. Each states a stance, how sure it is, the strongest case for proceeding, the cost of waiting and what would change its mind. One seat is assigned to argue the strongest case against.
- 3
The Council writes the briefing
A synthesis reports the verdict, the dissent, the hidden variable no seat addressed, the material risks and the conditions that would make the Council reconsider. It is audited before you see it.
- 4
People decide, and the record is kept
In the Decision Room people record their own positions. In the Boardroom a board can add the decision to an agenda. The Ledger keeps a tamper-evident record. The Council advises; it never decides.
What is in the briefing
What the Council advises, whether the decision is authorised yet, and what must be true first.
For two-option decisions: how the seats divided on each option, counted, never blended.
The assumptions the recommendation rests on, in the seats' own words.
The strongest objection to the conclusion, and who raised it.
Which claims you supplied, which the Council inferred, and which need checking by a professional.
A record number and a QR code that confirms the briefing was issued by The Voussoir.
Questions
Does The Voussoir decide for me?
No. The Council is decision support. It carries no authority and its seats are AI perspectives, not licensed professionals. The decision and its consequences stay with you.
How long does a briefing take?
Usually a few minutes. The briefing appears on its own when it is ready.
Can the seats disagree?
Yes, and the briefing records it. Agreement between seats is never presented as proof.
Who can read my decisions?
You can. Voussoir staff have no standing access to the content of your decisions.
What does it cost?
The full seven-seat Council is free for three deliberations a month. Paid plans add scenario comparison, specialist councils, the Boardroom and the permanent Ledger.
The Voussoir is not a board. It carries no authority, fiduciary duty or accountability, and its seats are AI perspectives, not people. It supplies one function a good board provides: structured challenge from several disciplines before a decision is committed.
